XenOptic ATMOS – breathe clean air and see clearly

XenOptic ATMOS – it is not just a welding helmet, but a complete protection system: an auto-darkening eye shield and a powered air supply (turbo) unit for respiratory protection. The system filters welding fumes and fine particles, supplies clean air under the helmet, and thus reduces fatigue and protects your health during long work. The welding helmet features the highest 1/1/1/1 optical class and a 4 + 1 ambient light sensor system, meaning maximum clarity, safety, and precision. 

This set is enhanced with a separate grinding shield that can be quickly fitted for grinding, cleaning, or finishing work. The shield protects the face and eyes from sparks and flying particles, while the wide clear window ensures good visibility. Convenient to have one system for both welding and grinding – simply change the shield, while air supply and protection comfort remain the same.
 

Turbo unit with adjustable airflow

The fan supplies air at three levels – 170, 190, and 210 l/min – you choose according to work intensity. The LCD display shows an alarm signal, filter status, flow level, current airflow, and battery status. In case of insufficient flow or a discharged battery, audible and vibration warnings activate. Before work, airflow is checked with the included flow meter.

P3 particulate filter

The system uses a P3-class particulate filter (marked TH3) together with a prefilter and spark arrestor. This combination protects against non-toxic solid particles and aerosols.

Important: PAPR does not protect against gases and vapors and cannot be used in oxygen-deficient environments (below 19.5%).

Li-ion battery and carrying

Standard battery 14.8 V / 2.6 Ah (38.48 Wh) (optional – high-capacity battery 14.8 V / 7.8 Ah (76.96 Wh)) for longer work. Battery life – ≥500 charging cycles.

The whole unit is mounted on a belt with shoulder straps; air is supplied via a breathing hose with a quick-disconnect connector.

Auto-darkening welding filter (ADF)

The shield darkens instantly when the arc ignites and protects the eyes from visible light, UV, and IR radiation. Has 4 modes – CUT (cutting), WELD (welding), GRIND (grinding), DARK (fixed shade) – and a separate external GRIND button on the housing for quick switching.

Shade range DIN 4–8 / 9–13 (max. DIN 14), adjustable sensitivity (0–9 levels) and delay, automatic or manual (A/M) control, TRS smooth transition mode, and memory function.

Certification

The system complies with EN 12941 (TH3), EN ISO 16321, AS/NZS 1716 (PAPR-P3) and PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425; the shield ADF – EN 166, EN 175, EN 379.
