Automatic welding helmet Sherman-profi V8a with PAPR air supply system

The automatic welding helmet Sherman-profi V8a is designed to protect eyes and face from sparks, spatter, and harmful radiation during welding, soldering, cutting, and grinding operations. The PAPR breathing protection system creates positive pressure inside the helmet due to forced air flow, preventing the welder from inhaling welding dust and fumes. The blower has two air filters and is worn on the back, significantly reducing the amount of pollutants in the air breathed by the welder. The dimming filter features TRUE COLOR technology, ensuring high work comfort.

The V8a helmet allows adjusting the dimming from 4 to 12 according to DIN, smoothly regulating the photo sensors' response to the arc intensity during welding, and adjusting the delay time between dark/light switching and switching to grinding mode. The dimming filter has the highest optical class, ensuring complete welder safety. It has four photo sensors, which is especially important when welding at low currents.

The V8a welding helmet features an advanced, comfortable, and ergonomic head mounting that allows for a perfect fit and full adjustment of the helmet's position. A special tilt system shifts the helmet's weight center in relation to the welder's head.
