Soft-Face Mallets with Changeable Inserts

A soft-face hammer with replaceable inserts transfers the blow while marking the surface as little as possible, ideal for assembly, adjusting painted metal, and fitting windows, doors and furniture. The insert material matters more than weight: soft rubber and TPE are gentlest, nylon and superplastic deliver a stronger, more precise strike, and copper lets you hit hard without hardened-steel contact. The flagship here is the Halder SIMPLEX: inserts, body and handle are replaceable separately, so a worn part doesn’t mean a new hammer.
