Natural Color Technology

The new G5-01 auto-darkening welding filters (ADF) employ the popular 3M Speedglas Natural Color Technology to make colors appear more natural. The G5-01VC (variable color) model gives welders the choice between warm, standard, or cool color options in the dark state.

Adjustable airflow

Thanks to the new air distribution system, welders can direct airflow to their face or the helmet, as well as adjust the amount of air coming from the top vent or two side vents. Having greater control over the settings, welders can balance the cooling effect of the airflow while reducing streams that can dry out the nose or eyes.

3M equipment connection app

Safely pair your smartphone with your G5-01 welding light filter via Bluetooth using the "3M Connected Equipment" app. Program and save up to 10 different modes using your smartphone. Set your most frequently used filter darkness, sensitivity, delay, and other settings modes, saving time by switching only between saved modes, not all settings. Easily record and monitor your welding helmet's maintenance journal.

The 3M ADFLO air filtration unit

The advanced, compact design award-winning ADLO air filtration unit is specially designed to meet welders' needs. A constant airflow ensures the provision of filtered air that dissipates heat and dries out sweat. Using the ADFLO unit all day, you will be better protected and enjoy comfort. The slim design of the unit is convenient to use in confined spaces. This system's ergonomic model is designed to meet the needs for ease, fit, and easy to use respiratory protection. The 3M Speedglas G5-01 air helmet is supplied with the Adflo High Altitude Air Filtration Unit, which is adjusted to work at altitudes from 0-3000 meters above sea level (0-1500 meters using gas filter).

The constant speed of the air flow is 170 liters per minute, regardless of battery status or the load of particulate matter on the filter. If you need to work in high temperature and high humidity conditions, you can increase the airflow to 200 liters per minute by pressing the power button a second time.
