STROM PULSE TIG+MMA welding machine, operating in dual modes, has a unique ability to perform various welding operations. The TIG welding process can be used for products requiring high precision. The MMA welding mode is great for welding thicker products needing high reliability. The dual-mode welding machine – TIG/MMA significantly increases the usage range, more specifically, it provides the ability to weld thick and thin sheets, alloys, and non-alloyed metals both indoors and outdoors. The machine is suitable for tasks requiring high precision, reliability, and efficiency, such as welding a root pass and then filling the seam. MMA mode allows welding with all types of electrodes and is suitable for all standard materials.
The power source with IGBT transistors ensures a minimal amount of electromagnetic interference, small power losses in the main systems of the device, increases the efficiency and reliability of the power source, reduces energy consumption and immediately adapts the supply to changing welding parameters.

1. POWER light turns on when the device is powered on.
2. Overload/fault LED = this light turns on in two cases: a) When the device has a malfunction and cannot be controlled. b) If the welding machine exceeds the standard load duration, protection mode is activated and the machine stops its functions. This means the device restores temperature control after having overheated. For this reason, the machine stops. During this process, the red warning light turns on. In this case, you do not need to unplug the electrical plug from the socket. The device's cooling ventilation must continue to operate. When the red light turns off, the temperature has dropped to the normal operating temperature, and the device can continue working.
3. Multifunction display shows the welding mode parameters.
4. Welding mode parameter adjustment knob.
5. Welding mode switch. Press the button (5) to select the desired mode.
- TIG HF (non-contact). HF ignition - high-frequency ignition for TIG welding, which guarantees a cleaner start of the welding point.
- TIG LIFT (contact). LIFT – contact electric arc ignition for TIG mode.
- MMA - manual arc welding method with coated electrodes.
6. 2T/4T/SPOT mode change. Press the button (6) to select the required mode.
- 2-stroke operation = The welding process starts by pressing the torch switch and after releasing the switch, the DOWN SLOPE function is activated. If the torch switch is pressed again, the welding process is resumed.
- 4-stroke operation = The welding process starts by pressing the torch switch and only after another press, the DOWN SLOPE function is activated. You can adjust the current, voltage, switch between 2T and 4T modes, and select the required welding mode.
- Spot – spot welding process.
7. Pulse function switch = an additional pulse function allows introducing more energy fundamentally without increasing the workpiece temperature.
- ON pulse - Pulse welding mode switch. The pulse function, which evenly regulates the pulse frequency up to 300 Hz, allows working with thin sheets.
- EASY - Depending on the chosen current amplitude, this function automatically generates a corresponding pulse frequency and main welding current, both parameters are synergistically adjusted.
- BiLEVEL - Pulse welding mode switch. The pulse function, which doubles the pulse frequency. It only works in 4T TIG mode. This parameter can be set from the maximum overall current level to the minimum overall current level, corresponding to 30%.
Welding mode parameter setting diagram. The control panel allows precise control of the required welding parameters. The parameters are set by pressing the welding mode setting adjustment knob (2), with each press moving to another function. The required duration, frequency, or current is set by turning the knob (2).
