- Arc Force - maintenance of a stable welding arc. The Arc Force function is necessary to prevent electrode "sticking" and to increase arc burning stability – at the moment when the electrode metal splatter separates, the current automatically increases to the optimal value, which prevents the electrode from sticking during welding or cutting. The system is important when working with responsible structures and using electrodes with basic, rutile, ilmenite, rutile, and cellulose coatings.
