The SPARTUS® EasyMIG 217DP welding machine is a modern semi-automatic welding device manufactured using IGBT transistor technology. This unit combines synergic MIG / MAG welding with double pulse, synergic MIG / MAG welding with pulse, MIG / MAG welding in synergic mode, MIG / MAG welding in manual setting mode, TIG Lift welding, and MMA welding. In addition, the device allows changing welding polarity. The maximum welding current for MIG / MAG / TIG / MMA methods is 200A. The unit is powered from a single-phase 230 V mains supply.

The modern LCD display allows quick and easy setting of the welding voltage and control of the unit’s functions. When adjusting parameters, the display determines the relationship of the weld profile to voltage and graphically shows the recommended material thickness for the selected current.

EasyMIG 217DP allows working with 0,8–1,2 mm diameter wire. The welder with synergic programs also allows manual fine-tuning of the set parameters. An additional advantage of the unit is the pulse welding capability. Using double pulse in the MIG / MAG method makes it possible to achieve a high-quality and aesthetically pleasing weld bead, similar to a bead obtained with the TIG method.

To make work even easier and more efficient, EasyMIG 217DP features functions that support the welding process:

• 2T / 4T operating modes.
• Welding inductance adjustment (Inductance) - control of bead width and penetration depth (MIG / MAG), reduction of welding spatter.
• Spool Gun - a lightweight and durable welding torch with a built-in wire feeder and spool in the handle (MIG / MAG).
• HOT START - makes arc ignition easier (MMA). The HOT START function applies a current impulse at the moment the electrode touches the workpiece, making arc ignition easier.
• ARC FORCE - maintaining a stable welding arc (MMA). The ARC FORCE function is used to prevent the electrode from “sticking” and to increase arc stability – at the moment the droplet of electrode metal detaches, the current automatically increases to the optimum value, which helps prevent electrode sticking during welding or cutting. The system is important when working with critical structures and when using electrodes with basic, acidic, ilmenite, rutile, and cellulose coatings.
• VRD - reduces open-circuit voltage to a safe level to ensure protection against electric shock (MMA). This function complies with regional regulations and safety standards worldwide.

The built-in two-roller wire feeder ensures stable welding wire feed. Thanks to its low weight and compact dimensions, EasyMIG 217DP is a convenient welding unit. Ease of use and advanced welding capabilities make this device ideal for both industrial companies and workshops.
