The Sherman DIGITIG 216P AC/DC welding machine is an excellent device for welding with both direct and alternating currents. Designed for TIG and MMA welding. The device is manufactured using IGBT technology and features digital control. The welding machine allows digital regulation and control of the arc and pulse characteristics welding parameters. It has an adjustable Arc Force function. This welding machine also has Hot Start and 2T/4T functions. During TIG welding, it is possible to adjust current rise and fall, gas flow, and pulse parameters.

Features of the DIGITIG 216P AC/DC welding machine:

2T/4T – the ability to choose one of two operating modes.

HOT START - facilitates arc ignition (MMA). The HOT START function initiates a current pulse at the moment the electrode touches the workpiece, thereby facilitating arc ignition.

ARC FORCE - maintains stable welding arc (MMA). The ARC FORCE function is necessary to prevent electrode "sticking" and increase arc burning stability – at the moment when the slag from the electrode metal detaches, the current automatically increases to the optimum value, which prevents the electrode from sticking during welding or cutting. The system is crucial when working with responsible structures and using electrodes with basic, cellulosic, rutile, and iron powder coatings.
