The Welbach semi-automatic welder is an excellent device for welding metal elements. It is perfect for work in factories, workshops, manufacturing, and construction sites. The PROXUS 250P model uses the MIG / MAG welding method suitable for magnesium, copper, and other non-ferrous metals and their alloys welding. Excellent performance, modern technology, and precise adjustment will create clean and durable welding seams.
The semi-automatic welder features high efficiency, with a maximum welding current of 270A. The device is powered from a 230V network, making the semi-automatic widely usable. PROXUS 250C is made with IGBT technology, making it more efficient than most other devices. The semi-automatic welder is especially safe and has compact dimensions. PROXUS 250C has TIG Lift ignition, offering many advantages:
- Avoidance of electronic component interference (unlike high-frequency ignition)
- Possible precise setting of the welding start point
- Simple and safe ignition
- No risk of tungsten inclusions
- Electrode tip remains intact
- Easy ignition with long cables
The 2T/4T welding functions greatly facilitate work. The 2T mode allows welding by pressing and holding the welding torch button. It is perfect for making spot welds. In turn, 4T is initiated by a short button press. To finish, press the button again. This will comfortably make long seams.
Synergic mode allows setting just one parameter (e.g., power or material thickness), and other parameters (wire feed speed or current) are adjusted automatically. Moreover, PULSE function configurations have been saved on the device's computer to ensure the best work results.
Features and functions:
- Made with IGBT technology, thus featuring resistance to short circuits. IGBT is a newer extension of MOSFET technology.
- The device is manufactured according to strict European standards and has been checked to meet CE and RoHS. This guarantees a long service life and high quality.
- At the end of each device, there is a knob marked with a grounding sign. Before starting work, it must be grounded with a wire of no less than 6 mm² diameter.
- MMA welding capability
- PULSE function allows reducing the amount of heat supplied to the material. Ideally suited for welding thin metal sheets. In the case of MIG welding, it is perfectly suitable for aluminum processing.
- 2T/4T welding modes
- 2T function means starting the work by pressing a button on the torch and stopping by releasing the torch button.
- During 4T function, pressing the button on the torch opens the solenoid valve, pre-flowing gas and igniting the electric arc. After ignition, the current level equals the starting current. When the button is released, the exit current value increases to the welding current value. The welding process is stopped by pressing the button on the handle again.
- Powered from a single-phase network (230 V +/- 10 %).
- Hot Start Function facilitates the ignition of the electric arc by temporarily increasing the welding current when the arc is ignited. After ignition, the welding current returns to the preset value.
- Anti Stick function prevents the electrode from sticking to the material as the current is automatically reduced.
- LED display
