Welbach PROXUS 250C MIG Welder, 230V, 250 A

The Welbach MIG welder is an excellent device for welding metal components. It is ideal for work in factories, workshops, production facilities, and construction sites. The PROXUS 250C model uses the MIG / MAG welding method, designed for welding magnesium, copper and other non-ferrous metals as well as their alloys. Excellent performance, modern technology and precise adjustment will allow you to create clean and durable weld seams.

The welder features high efficiency, with a maximum welding current of 250A. The unit is powered from a 230V supply, so it can be used very widely. Welding parameters are controlled very easily and conveniently. Two LED displays show the values you have set. PROXUS 250C is made using IGBT technology, making it more efficient than most other devices. The welder is particularly safe and has compact dimensions. PROXUS 250C features TIG Lift ignition, offering many advantages:

• Avoidance of interference with electronic components (unlike high-frequency ignition)
• Precise setting of the welding start point is possible
• Simple and safe ignition
• No risk of tungsten inclusions
• The electrode tip is not damaged
• Easy ignition when using long cables

Features and functions:

• Manufactured using IGBT technology, therefore resistant to short circuits. IGBT is a newer continuation of MOSFET technology.
• Powerful fans ensure optimal heat dissipation during device operation.
• Protective gas required for TIG / MIG / MAG welding: inert (e.g., argon, helium), active (e.g., carbon dioxide) or mixtures (e.g., 82% argon + 18% carbon dioxide). Gas flow is activated by the trigger button, which switches on the solenoid valve.
• At the rear of each unit there is a bolt marked with the grounding symbol. Before starting work, it must be grounded with a wire whose cross-section must be at least 6 mm².
• MMA welding capability
• Powered from a single-phase network (230 V +/- 10 %).
• 2T/4T welding modes
• The Hot Start function makes arc ignition easier by temporarily increasing the welding current when the arc is struck. After ignition, the welding current returns to the set value.
• The Anti Stick function prevents the electrode from overheating when it sticks to the material, because the current is automatically reduced.
