The multifunctional inverter semi-automatic welding unit is made of high-quality materials according to the most innovative technologies. It is designed for self-shielded flux-cored wire welding (FCAW) and manual metal arc welding (MMA), and when a TIG torch is connected - welding using the TIG Lift method. The digital control panel is understandable and allows intuitive use of the welding machine and precise adjustment of the welding parameters.

A major advantage of the Pirotec FCAW/MMA (PSIF141/1S) welding unit is the ability to weld using flux-cored wire without the use of shielding gases. This enables welding of ferrous metals in hard-to-reach places or at high altitude objects. Welding with flux-cored wire is done by switching the polarity to DC+, and the resulting weld is clean, without any defects.

The welding unit is cooled by fans, the accumulated heat is removed quickly and efficiently. Thermal protection against overload ensures a high level of safety.

The semi-automatic welding unit is based on IGBT technology. IGBT - Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor is a semiconductor device that is used in high power electronics because it combines the high efficiency of bipolar transistors (for example, good transfer characteristic, high blocking voltage, durability of welding equipment) and the advantages of field-effect transistors.
