SPARTUS set - EasyMIG 225 LCD MIG welder, 220A, 230V

SPARTUS® EasyMIG 225 is a modern semi-automatic welding machine manufactured using IGBT transistor technology. It is designed for MIG/MAG, MMA and TIG Lift welding. Polarity change is available. The maximum welding current for the MIG / MAG and TIG methods is 220A, and for MMA - 200A. The device is powered from a single-phase 230 V mains supply.

The welding machine has synergic programs with the possibility to manually adjust parameters. The user can select the following programs: steel CO2, steel mix, aluminium, flux-cored wire welding. The unit also works in manual welding mode.

EasyMIG 225 is manufactured using the most modern technological solutions, therefore it features several useful functions:

• 2T / 4T - the ability to choose one of two operating modes (MIG / MAG)
• welding inductance control - control of bead width and penetration depth (MIG / MAG), limiting the amount of spatter.
• Hot Start - makes arc ignition easier (MMA). The HOT START function applies a current pulse at the moment the electrode touches the workpiece, making it easier to strike the arc.
• Arc Force - maintaining a stable welding arc (MMA). The ARC FORCE function is required to prevent the electrode from “sticking” and to increase arc stability – at the moment the droplet of electrode metal detaches, the current automatically increases to the optimal value, which helps prevent the electrode from sticking during welding or cutting. The system is important when working with critical structures and when using electrodes with basic, acidic, ilmenite, rutile and cellulose coatings.
• VRD - reduces open-circuit voltage to a safe level to ensure protection against electric shock (MMA). This function meets regional guidelines and safety standard requirements worldwide.

The device has an LCD display that allows quick and easy setting of welding voltage and control of the device functions. When adjusting welding parameters, the display shows the weld bead profile and the recommended material thickness for the selected current. The welder has compact dimensions, yet it is compatible with standard D200 and D300 welding wire spools weighing up to 15 kg.
