MIG welding – full process control

SPARTUS ProMIG 5000 is a technologically advanced inverter welding machine designed for the most demanding industrial needs. It is built for continuous production work where reliability, repeatability, and complete control of the welding process are paramount. With a 100% duty cycle at a maximum current of 500 A, the ProMIG 5000 ensures a stable arc and high welding quality even during prolonged use.

SPARTUS ProMIG 5000 offers extensive MIG/MAG welding capabilities, combining manual mode with an advanced synergic mode with pre-set synergic programs. In MIG synergy mode, the unit actively assists the user by suggesting optimal operating parameters such as material thickness and wire feed speed, significantly speeding up setup and making work easier for variable production tasks. At the same time, the user retains full process control because parameters can be adjusted manually, allowing precise tailoring of arc characteristics to individual preferences and material specifications.

SPARTUS ProMIG 5000 provides broad MIG/MAG process configuration options that go beyond the standard settings of traditional semi-automatic machines. Users can precisely adjust parameters such as gas pre-flow and post-flow, burn back, and slow wire feed (slow feed), enabling optimal preparation of the welding process and reducing welding defects.

The welding machine allows control of arc dynamics by adjusting the initial and final current and setting the current rise and fall times. Such a wide adjustment range makes it possible to adapt welding characteristics to specific technological requirements, improving weld quality, process stability, and repeatability in mass production.

The unit supports various torch trigger modes, including 2T, 4T, and 4T+, providing better ergonomics and more comfortable work on long weld seams and tasks where reducing operator fatigue is important. In addition, the spot welding function (SPOT) enables quick, repeatable tack welds used, among other things, in assembly work and in the production of thin-walled components.

SPARTUS ProMIG 5000 is designed to work with a variety of welding materials. The unit supports welding of structural steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and CuSi3, making it a versatile solution for manufacturing companies and industrial workshops. Thanks to extensive synergic settings, the user can select the appropriate wire type and shielding gas, including argon and CO₂ mixtures, enabling optimization of welding parameters depending on the material and process requirements. This solution increases work efficiency and ensures high-quality welding across a wide range of applications.

The precise four-roll wire feed unit ensures stable and smooth wire feeding even under heavy loads. The wide range of supported wire diameters and the ability to work with large spools make the unit ideal both for mass production and for the fabrication of heavy steel structures. An additional advantage is the ability to connect a Spool Gun type torch, which significantly expands the application range of the welding machine, especially for aluminum welding and for work conditions requiring maximum wire feed stability.

Option to use the MIG 501 torch with advanced control

In this configuration, the SPARTUS ProMIG 5000 is supplied with a standard SP 501 4 m torch. However, the welding machine can work with the specialized MIG501 torch, where the control system is integrated into the handle. This is a major advantage compared to standard solutions available on the market. Unlike traditional MIG torches, this solution allows welding voltage and current to be adjusted directly on the handle, without having to approach the main panel. This significantly improves working ergonomics and allows the operator to dynamically adjust parameters during welding, which is especially important when working on large structures, in hard-to-reach areas, and under changing process conditions. The ability to adjust settings during operation means better arc control, process stability, and higher welding quality.

Using the MIG 501 torch with control functions in the handle is an industrial-grade solution designed for users who expect maximum precision, efficiency, and comfort in continuous work. To purchase this torch, please contact mastercity.lt consultants.

Modern control panel and intuitive operation

The modern control panel with a clear touchscreen display provides quick access to all main device functions. The intuitive interface and ergonomic adjustment knobs allow precise parameter setting and efficient menu navigation even in a demanding production environment. The integrated control system enables not only configuration of welding parameters but also quick selection of the operating mode, material type, wire diameter, and shielding gas.

TIG LIFT capability – precision where every detail matters

The TIG DC Lift welding mode allows precise welding work with full parameter control. By adjusting the current down-slope time and the gas flow after welding, characteristics can be tailored to a specific task. This is an ideal solution wherever high aesthetics and precision are required, without the need for additional HF ignition.

MMA welding capability – arc stability in all conditions

SPARTUS ProMIG 5000 also offers an efficient MMA welding mode, ensuring a stable arc across a wide current range. Auxiliary functions Arc Force, Hot Start, and VRD ensure reliable ignition and arc stability even in demanding installation or outdoor conditions, where equipment reliability is crucial.

Memory channels – quick access to settings

SPARTUS ProMIG 5000 features an extensive memory system that significantly improves workflow in a production environment. The unit allows you to save and quickly restore up to 100 work programs, enabling the operator to instantly switch between different welding configurations without having to reconfigure parameters each time. This function is especially useful when working with different materials, thicknesses, and performing repetitive tasks.

Advanced cooling system – adaptation to real working conditions

SPARTUS ProMIG 5000 is delivered with an external cooler that significantly increases its high-load capabilities. The key feature is the ability to switch it on or off. At lower current, the operator can use lighter gas torches that do not require liquid cooling to be switched on, while at high currents the cooling system ensures stability and component protection.

In addition, the cooler has a temperature monitoring display, allowing continuous supervision of operating conditions and increasing the safety of the entire welding process.

    Industrial design – mobile workstation

The welding machine together with the wire feeder and cooler forms a mobile workstation. The entire set is integrated on a durable transport trolley with a gas cylinder holder, which facilitates work organization and ensures convenient use in a production environment. This solution allows the system to be moved easily and the workspace to be used optimally.

    Safety and reliability

SPARTUS ProMIG 5000 is intended for intensive use in an industrial environment. The overheating protection system automatically safeguards components in the event of excessive load, ensuring continuous and safe operation. Robust construction, high insulation class, and IP23S protection class allow the unit to be used in demanding production environments. Parameter stability, load resistance, and refined design make “ProMIG 5000” a reliable welding power source for long-term, uninterrupted work.
