MOST FANMIG J5 LCD is a modern semi-automatic welding machine designed for MIG/MAG, MMA or TIG DC (LiftArc) welding. It can be used for welding steel or stainless steel in a protective gas environment. Main applications: crafts, automotive body repair, hobbies, renovation, etc. The device is powered by a single-phase 230 V electrical network.

The front panel has an LCD screen. Parameter values are set manually, with a push of the knob to confirm settings. There are two synergic programs for steel welding with 0.8 mm and 1.0 mm diameter wires in gas or CO2 environment, as well as manual MANU MIG setting. Depending on the wire diameter chosen, the knob adjusts both the welding current and wire feed speed. The device can also be used with 0.8–0.9 mm diameter FLUX cored wires, by changing polarity.

The wire feed unit allows welding with 1 kg or 5 kg spools. Recommended steel wire diameters are 0.8 mm and 1.0 mm.

The device is protected from overheating by a fan and a thermal sensor. The device is manufactured according to EN 60974-1 standard.
