For welding pure aluminum and some aluminum alloys. Good weldability with non-ferrous metals. Slag is easily removed. Few spatters. Non-corrosive. (For welding aluminum-silicon alloys, Lastek 62 is recommended.)

Application area:

Can be used for welding pure aluminum, AlMgSi (series 6000), AlMn (series 3000), AlMg1 (5051), and AlMg3 (5754).

Chemical and food industry, fishing industry, transport (trucks, containers).

Current:

Direct current (DC), reverse polarity.

Usage instructions:

Keep the electrode perpendicular to the workpiece. Weld with a short arc.

Use a high welding speed. Preheat thicker sections up to 150-200°C (300-390°F).

Always use dry electrodes (they can be dried using Lastidry at no more than 150°C (300°F) temperature).

To avoid corrosion, carefully remove all slag residues.
