Cromarod 308L are AC/DC rutile electrodes for welding low carbon 18%Cr / 10%Ni (type 304L) stainless steel (austenitic). Excellent welding in all positions with a smooth arc and low spatter.
Welding current: DC+, AC OCV > 39V
Ferrite content: FN 7 (WRC-92)
Corrosion resistance: Excellent resistance to general and intergranular corrosion. Also good resistance to oxidizing acids and cold reducing acids.
