The Bessey D39ASS sheet metal shears are the new shears from Bessey that fit perfectly in hand and are exceptionally easy to use. The opening angle of the shear handles has been reduced without significantly reducing the cutting length, and the shear head has become even more compact.

The Bessey D39ASS sheet metal shears are designed for both straight and contour cuts. Thanks to their compact heads, the shears are very maneuverable, allowing for highly precise contour cuts. The shears are exceptionally sturdy.

These shears can truly be considered ideal, as they are truly "universal". They can be used for continuous sheet metal cutting (continuous cut), as well as for cutting large and small contours or radii (contour cut). Moreover, it doesn't matter whether the work is performed from the edge (cutting edges) or from the middle of the sheet.

Right-handed shears are designed and constructed in such a way that they cut right radii well (i.e., a curve from left to right). It is often thought that right-handed shears are for right-handed people, and left-handed shears are for left-handed people. But this is not the case. It's the opposite. If a right-handed person cuts a radius with right-handed shears (as mentioned above, from left to right), the motion will be directed outward from the wrist. And with left-handed shears (radius from right to left) - towards the inside of the wrist. This is significantly more ergonomic.
