The biggest impact on battery operation is temperature. When the air cools down to minus 20-25°C, any battery will experience additional strain, which will shorten its operation time. As the temperature drops to -20°C, the electrolyte thickens, the chemical reaction necessary for energy production slows down, and the battery's capacity decreases. Furthermore, the oil in the engine also thickens, making it harder to start the vehicle. When the temperature falls to 0°C, the battery loses about 35% of its power, and if the temperature drops even further, the power decreases by an additional 50%. When it's cold, starting the engine consumes more electrical power. This is why batteries pose the most problems in winter. The Strom battery charger will ensure that you avoid many of the issues associated with starting your vehicle.

This battery charger is designed for charging 12-24V lead-acid batteries with liquid electrolyte. The charging process progress can be monitored on the built-in ammeter. The Strom charger has two charging modes: normal charging, for when batteries need to be charged quickly, or when the battery is of a larger capacity and is discharged, and maintenance (trickle) charging, for charging partially charged batteries or batteries of a smaller capacity. A switch easily sets the 12V or 24V charging voltage. Strong pole clamps ensure optimal contact with the battery poles. A convenient handle is provided for safe transportation of the charger.
