SPARTUS XPro MIG 200 Dual Pulse is a modern semi-automatic welding machine designed for users who need maximum functionality in an exceptionally compact housing. Despite its small size, the unit features a professional 4-roll wire feeder and an advanced dual-pulse function—features typically found in much larger industrial machines.
Modern IGBT inverter technology, a 230V power supply, and a wide range of welding processes make the XPro MIG 200DP ideal for both professional workshops and assembly or service work. The machine enables welding using MIG/MAG (manual, synergic, pulsed and dual pulsed), TIG Lift and MMA methods, providing full versatility for various materials and applications.
The XPro MIG 200DP is designed for intensive daily use. A high 60% duty cycle at 200A welding current ensures process stability even during longer welds and more demanding tasks.
MIG/MAG welding – from full control to advanced dual pulse
SPARTUS XPro MIG 200 Dual Pulse offers a wide selection of MIG/MAG process configuration options, making it easy to adapt for everyday workshop tasks as well as more demanding requirements. The synergic DC MIG mode significantly simplifies welding parameter setup. The machine automatically selects optimal settings based on material type, wire diameter and shielding gas, enabling faster start-up and reducing the risk of incorrect settings. This function is especially useful when working with different materials and switching between tasks.
For more experienced users, manual mode is also available, providing full control over welding parameters and allowing precise adjustment of arc characteristics according to individual preferences and the specifics of the job.
However, the machine’s true potential is revealed in pulse and dual-pulse modes. Pulsing technology allows better control of the amount of energy transferred to the material, stabilizes the arc and reduces spatter. This results in a more predictable process and a cleaner, more aesthetic weld. Dual-pulse mode makes it possible to achieve weld quality close to TIG welding, while maintaining the high efficiency of MIG/MAG welding. This solution is ideal for welding aluminium, stainless steel and thin materials sensitive to thermal distortion.
In practice, dual-pulse mode means:
- reduced spatter,
- easier control of the weld pool,
- reduced overheating of the material,
- improved weld aesthetics,
- less post-weld rework.
Extended parameter settings such as pulse frequency, base current and duty cycle allow even more precise control of the process, penetration depth and weld bead appearance. This not only gives the operator greater stability, but also has a real impact on the quality of the final result.
The user can fully control all work stages—from gas pre-flow, soft start and ignition parameters to arc termination. Functions such as “Burn Back” eliminate the risk of wire sticking, while proper post-flow gas settings effectively protect the weld bead from oxidation, reducing the need for rework.
The machine also offers advanced torch operating modes such as 2T, 4T and their extended versions S2T and S4T. These torch modes allow precise welding control, especially for long and complex welds. SPOT mode increases accuracy when repeatability and weld time control are required. Inductance control allows the arc to be adapted to the material and welding position, reducing spatter and improving weld quality, while the Slow Feed function ensures stable ignition and a controlled start of wire feeding.
The system is complemented by the option to use a Spool Gun type torch, which significantly improves the feeding stability of soft wires, especially aluminium. This solution eliminates issues related to pushing wire over longer distances, ensuring better control and process repeatability.

Integrated 4-roll wire feed mechanism
The SPARTUS XPro MIG 200 Dual Pulse welding machine features a professional 4-roll wire feed mechanism that ensures smooth and stable wire feeding even when working with more demanding materials such as aluminium. Stable wire feeding directly affects arc quality and the repeatability of welding parameters. By reducing jerking and uneven wire feed, operator comfort improves and pulse and dual-pulse modes can be fully utilized.
The machine works with wires with a diameter from 0.8 to 1.2 mm and supports spools up to 5 kg, while maintaining a very compact design.
Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)
SPARTUS XPro MIG 200 Dual Pulse features high electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), ensuring stable, interference-free operation in a demanding industrial environment. The unit is designed not to interfere with other devices and control systems, while maintaining resistance to external interference. This ensures reliable operation in environments where automation, robots and modern production facilities are used.
Memory channels – quick access to saved parameters
The machine has a memory system where up to 20 welding programs can be saved. This allows previously saved settings to be restored immediately, significantly reducing setup time and ensuring high process repeatability. This solution will be especially appreciated by users working in mass production, where speed and eliminating setup errors are critical.
TIG Lift and MMA – versatility in one machine
SPARTUS XPro MIG 200 Dual Pulse enables welding using TIG Lift and MMA methods, which significantly expands the machine’s application range. TIG Lift mode allows precise welding using touch ignition, ensuring good arc control and a stable process, especially for jobs requiring higher accuracy. The device allows connecting a TIG torch with a EURO connector and a controller on the handle. This solution increases working comfort and allows more convenient control of the TIG Lift process without taking your hand off the torch.
In MMA mode, the machine offers two advanced operating modes: constant current and constant power. The first ensures a stable arc regardless of its length, achieving high weld quality and easier process control. The second dynamically adjusts parameters to changing conditions, increasing comfort and efficiency. Functions such as Hot Start and Arc Force further support arc ignition and stabilization, especially in difficult conditions.
Easy operation and clear LCD panel
A modern, easy-to-read LCD display and an intuitive control panel allow quick and convenient operation of the machine even when using advanced functions. During welding, the interface dynamically adapts its layout, clearly presenting key operating parameters such as current and voltage, enabling continuous process monitoring and reducing the risk of errors.
Wider operating range, fewer limitations
A well-thought-out cable configuration—a 3-meter welding torch, grounding cable and power cable—provides real freedom of movement with large components and reduces the need for frequent repositioning. A 3-meter gas hose with a quick-connect fitting speeds up connection and simplifies workstation organization, improving work efficiency.
Compact design and mobility
One of the machine’s many advantages is its compact design. The welding machine weighs only 14.5 kg and has small dimensions, so it can be easily transported and used wherever large welding power sources are impractical. This is an ideal solution for mobile welders, assembly teams, maintenance workshops and users who need high performance without sacrificing transportability and workplace organization. Despite its small size, the XPro MIG 200DP offers features typical of industrial equipment.
An additional advantage is the intelligent cooling control system (“Fan Stop”), which turns the fan on only when needed. This means quieter operation, less dust intake and a longer component service life.
The IP21S protection class guarantees safe use in workshop and industrial environments, ensuring sufficient resistance to external factors.
