The special coating of these electrodes generates concentrated heat delivery to the workpiece without transferring metal. It produces very little slag, which can easily be cleaned off with a brush. Lastek 1001 can be used when it is necessary to bend or straighten profiles and plates.

Applications:

• Locally heat artistic and decorative pieces.
• For small blacksmith's workpieces.
• Dismantling the core of truck rotating axles.
• Removing the inner race of a wedged roller bearing on a shaft (if you need to cut out the outer race, use Lastek 1000.)
• To heat a shaft that needs to be straightened by forging.
