Introducing the fifth generation of mobile welding machine from ESAB. The latest ESAB Caddy 201i is manufactured using long-term, more than 30 years of experience in the production of welding machines.

The welding equipment comes bundled with OKC 50 welding cable connection. Its compact design with impact-resistant polymer casing is lightweight and convenient for transportation, while the new device design allows for a reduction in welding machine size without losing the very important internal component cooling efficiency. Large radiators and smart design extend the power source's usage life, even in harsh working environments. The new Caddy Arc 201i design protects all the most sensitive inner parts from dust and has an IP23 casing standard, so with Caddy Arc 201i, you can perform welding works outdoors in the rain. With the new control panel, you can comfortably and easily select welding parameters. The device's durable design and excellent welding performance will allow you to work all day every day. This welding machine is perfectly suited for professional welding, usable indoors and outdoors. It will serve well in construction and production.

The ESAB Caddy Arc 201i is a 230V single-phase power source with power factor correction, allowing full utilization of the welding device's power with a 16A fuse. An equipped PFC system also protects the power source from voltage fluctuations and allows the use of the welding machine connected from a generator. The Caddy Arc 201i lets you perform welding works, even when far from an electrical outlet, as the welding equipment can be connected using a 100m power cable.

The Caddy A33 control panel comes with a digital display. You will easily control the "Hot Start" and "Arc Force" parameters. This control panel has two easily accessible buttons with which you can select one of two stored parameter settings more conveniently and quickly perform your welding tasks when the product requires different thicknesses or positions. The A33 panel allows you to easily select and change MMA, TIG, and TIG-Lift Arc welding modes.

The Caddy Arc welding source provides continuous current, so you can weld most metals, including alloy and non-alloy steel, stainless steel, aluminum. With the ESAB Caddy Arc 201i, you can easily weld with 4 mm diameter electrodes. The A33 control panel has the latest "ArcPlus II" regulators, which ensure an intense yet smooth and stable weld arc that is easy to control. "ArcPlus II" creates small droplets of molten metal, ensures smooth arc burning, and doesn’t require stopping at the weld edges when welding with a weaving motion. "ArcPlus II" provides better welding characteristics, makes your work easier, and requires less after-weld treatment of the weld seam.

Features of the ESAB Caddy 201i welding machine

Hot Start - facilitates arc ignition (MMA). HOT START function ignites a current pulse the moment the electrode touches the workpiece, thus facilitating arc ignition.

Arc Force - maintains a stable welding arc (MMA). ARC FORCE function is needed to prevent electrode "sticking" and to increase arc burning stability – at the moment when a drop of electrode metal detaches, the current automatically increases to the optimum value, which helps avoid electrode sticking during welding or cutting. The system is important when working with responsible structures and using electrodes with basic, acid, ilmenite, rutile, and cellulose coatings.

ArcPlus II function improves welding characteristics, simplifies your work, and provides better welding quality, which reduces the after-weld treatment process.
