The welding equipment is equipped with an OKC 50 welding cable connector. The new Caddy Arc 151i design protects all the most sensitive parts from dust and has an IP23 enclosure standard, so with the Caddy Arc 151i, you can perform welding works outdoors in the rain. With the new control panel, you can comfortably and easily select welding parameters.

ESAB Caddy Arc 151i is a 230 V single-phase power source with power factor correction (PFC), which allows optimally using the welding device's power with a 16A fuse. The PFC system also protects the power source from voltage fluctuations and allows the use of the welding machine connected to a generator. Caddy Arc 151i will allow you to perform welding works, even away from the electrical outlet, as the welding device can be connected using a 100m power cable.

The Caddy A33 control panel has a digital display. You will easily manage "Hot Start" and "Arc Force" parameters. This control panel has two easily accessible buttons, which allow selecting one of the two saved parameter settings, making your welding tasks easier and faster when the product requires different thicknesses or position settings from you. The A33 panel will easily let you choose and change MMA, TIG and TIG-Lift Arc welding methods.

The Caddy Arc welding source provides constant current, so you can weld most metals, such as alloy and unalloyed steel, stainless steel, aluminum. With ESAB Caddy Arc 151i, you can weld electrodes with 1.6 - 3.2 mm and some 4mm diameters. The A33 control console has the latest "ArcPlus II" regulators, which ensure intense, yet smooth and stable welding arc, which is easy to control. "ArcPlus II" creates small drops of molten metal, ensuring smooth arc burning and does not require stopping at the weld edges when welding with a weaving motion. "ArcPlus II" provides even better welding characteristics, makes your work easier, and the welding seam requires less processing after welding.

Features of the Caddy Arc 151i welding machine

Hot Start - facilitates arc ignition (MMA). The HOT START function lights up a current pulse at the moment when the electrode touches the workpiece, thereby facilitating arc ignition.

Arc Force - maintains a stable welding arc (MMA). The ARC FORCE function is necessary to prevent electrode "sticking" and to increase arc burning stability – at the moment when the metal droplet detaches, the current automatically increases to the optimal value, which prevents electrode sticking during welding or cutting. The system is important when working with responsible structures and using electrodes with basic, rutile, ilmenite, rutile, and cellulose coatings.
