Universal tungsten electrodes with rare metals (mixed oxides). Compared with thorium (red) electrodes, this electrode is less harmful to the environment and is not radioactive. BINZEL E3 tungsten electrodes feature excellent ignition characteristics and stable welding properties. They are universal and suitable for all DC and AC welding systems, designed for unalloyed and alloyed steel, aluminum, titanium, nickel, copper, and magnesium alloys. Due to their high ignition properties, they are also suitable for automatic welding. Due to the lower electrode temperature, they provide higher current efficiency and longer service life than thorium (red) tungsten electrodes.
