Use
reducing pipe diameter when installing slip-fit connections
Specialized pliers designed to reduce the diameter of pipes being joined. These pliers are most commonly used by roofers and installers of ventilation and rainwater systems.
The pliers are made of high-quality steel and have five blades. An efficient mechanism increases the force of the blades, causing the pipe edge to be indented and the pipe diameter to be reduced. This allows one section of pipe to slide into another and create a joint.
