The digital welding machine DIGITIG 212 COLD is a latest generation device designed for professional use. It is manufactured using IGBT technology and has digital control. The device is intended for manual welding of steel and non-ferrous metals in DC TIG. The machine features an MMA welding option.

The welding machine allows complete digital regulation and control over the welding arc characteristics and parameters. The device features a cold welding function, which enables joining of thin elements due to very low heat input in the joint zone. Moreover, it includes HF ignition, HOT START and ARC FORCE functions, 2T/4T switch, and display showing the welding current.

HOT START facilitates arc ignition during MMA welding. The HOT START function initiates a current impulse the moment the electrode touches the workpiece, thus making arc ignition easier.

ARC FORCE is for maintaining a stable welding arc (MMA). The ARC FORCE function is necessary to prevent electrode 'sticking' and to improve arc burning stability – at the moment when electrode metal consumable drops, the current automatically increases to the optimum value, which helps to avoid electrode sticking during welding or cutting. The system is important when working with demanding constructions and using electrodes with basic, acid, ilmenite, rutile, and cellulose coatings.
