Spartus electrodes 316L-17 2.5x350mm 1kg
Code: E-316L-25-100Manufacturer-
SPARTUS® electrodes are delivered in a vacuum package and multilayer protection to effectively guard against moisture.
316L-17 electrodes are low carbon austenitic stainless steel electrodes, enriched with molybdenum (Mo). They are known for their exceptional corrosion resistance, especially in environments containing chlorides and other aggressive chemical substances. They are designed for welding stainless steel and other materials resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion.
Main advantages of Spartus electrodes:
- High resistance to corrosion and chlorides – ideally suited for marine, chemical, and aggressive environments.
- Addition of molybdenum (Mo) – increases resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion.
- Low carbon content – reduces the risk of intergranular corrosion.
- Stable arc and easy welding – smooth electrode handling and aesthetic welding results.
- High quality joints – X-ray quality welding seams without cracks and defects.
Usage:
- Stainless steel welding
- Chemical, pharmaceutical, and food industries
- Water supply and sewage systems in aggressive environments
- Equipment operating in chloride environments (e.g., swimming pools, marine impregnation agents)
- Tanks, pipelines, heat exchangers, stainless steel connecting parts
