The Sherman-profi V5a automatic welding helmet is designed to protect eyes and face from sparks, splashes and harmful radiation during electric and gas welding, braze welding, soldering, oxygen cutting and grinding. 

The automatic blackout filter automatically changes from bright to dark after ignition of the arc and becomes bright again after welding. 
The V5a helmet has two external knobs that allow you to adjust the darkness level from 4 to 13 according to DIN and smoothly adjusts the sensitivity of photosensors' response to arc intensity during welding, as well as two external switches that allow three-position adjustment of the dark / light switching delay time and change of operating mode. The blackout filter has the highest optical class ensuring full welder safety.It is equipped with four photosensors, which is especially important when welding with low currents. 
The V5a visor has an extremely wide field of view due to the large 100 x 62mm visor. In addition, it is possible to completely deflect the blackout filter, which significantly increases the viewing angle and is particularly useful when performing precise operations or working in adverse lighting conditions. 
The V5a helmet is equipped with an advanced, comfortable and ergonomic headrest for perfect fit and full adjustment of the helmet's position. A special tilting system changes the visor's center of gravity relative to the welder's head. 
After selecting the grinding function, the blackout filter switches to bright without darkness adjustment.
There is a? Test? Button on the internal control panel which allows you to check the battery charge status and the correct operation of the blackout filter.
