High-quality automatic and precise microprocessor-controlled battery charger Powermat PM-PM-10T is perfect for both professional auto services and home use. The device can charge batteries at 12V and 24V. The quick charging feature will help to start the engine much faster after the battery discharges. The device has a convenient section for power cable and charging cables.
Battery charger features:
- Protection against reverse polarity – blocks energy transfer to output cables if reverse connection is detected.
- Protection against short circuit – output cables' energy will be blocked.
- Protection against overvoltage – protection activates when a different than preset charging voltage is detected.
- Battery diagnostic function – charger continuously monitors the battery state and can notify about charging error.
- Protection against overheating – charger will reduce charging current and even completely shut down if overheating is detected. Upon cooling, the charger will automatically restart.
5-stage charging:
- 1st stage - diagnostics. Diagnosis of the battery, its charging state, and the accuracy of connections between the battery and charger.
- 2nd stage - analysis. Checks if the battery is damaged and can accept the charging current – charger prevents charging a damaged battery;
- 3rd stage - main charging. Charging with the maximal constant intensity current, which value is automatically adjusted according to the battery charging state until 80% of battery capacity is reached.
- 4th stage - final charging. Charging with decreasing current and constant voltage until 100% of battery capacity is reached.
- 5th stage - analysis. 2 minutes battery test - if the battery charge level does not decrease after stopping charging, the charging process is completed.
