This charger is the first in the market battery charger made using PWM technology and featuring a microprocessor control system capable of charging up to 24V batteries. The charger also has the capability to select non-standard battery voltage types. Charging in SMART or FAST mode requires no attention from you, as all charging process programs were meticulously designed to account for the corresponding types of batteries and their nominal voltage, to charge them as accurately as possible.

PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation) is a method of regulating current or voltage signals with a constant amplitude and frequency, consisting of changing the signal duty cycle. The PWM system powers the device directly or through a low-frequency filter, smoothing changes in electrical current and voltage.

Charging parameters display allows for additional checking of the battery condition. A large screen informs about the current current, charging mode, and current battery voltage. Moreover, you can monitor the charging status in percentages.

    Advantages:

    • Constant Voltage: Use constant current voltage to charge the battery, ensure that the charging current is not too high by reducing it during the process.
    • Constant Current: Means that the battery voltage is lower than the set charger voltage, but the charger will maintain a constant current for charging the battery.
    • Trickle Charge Modulation: When the battery voltage approaches nominal voltage and the charging current is already low for the set current, it will switch to variable charge modulation (floating charge modulation). This signifies that the battery is charged, but constantly checked for voltage drops, and automatically charged using variable current.
    • Floating Charge Modulation: This mode will maintain a full battery charge.

    8-stage charging:

    • 1st stage - diagnostics. Diagnosis of the battery, its charging status, and the correctness of the connections between the battery and the charger.
    • 2nd stage - desulfation. Revives a sulfated battery. Low voltage and high current pulse charging removes sulfate from the battery, thus restoring initial capacity.
    • 3rd stage - analysis. Checks if the battery is damaged and if it can accept a charge - prevents charging a damaged battery.
    • 4th stage - soft start. If the battery is not damaged, it begins to charge at a relatively low current (about 15%), gradually increasing its value.
    • 5th stage - main charge. Charging at the maximum constant current intensity, the value of which is automatically adjusted according to the battery charge status, until 80% of the battery capacity is reached.
    • 6th stage - final charge. Charging with decreasing current and constant voltage until 100% battery capacity is reached.
    • 7th stage - analysis. 2-minute battery test - if the battery charge level does not decrease after charging stops, the charging process is completed.
    • 8th stage - pulse. Monitoring battery voltage and maintaining optimal charging at 95–100% capacity using charging current pulses.

    Safety features:

    • Overvoltage protection - protection is activated when a charging voltage that is not set is detected.
    • Battery diagnostic function - the charger continuously monitors the battery condition.
    • Overheat protection: when the charger's temperature exceeds 150°C, the charger stops charging. When the temperature drops to 80°C or the charger is turned off for about 10 minutes, after this period, batteries can be recharged.
    • Short-circuit protection: it automatically activates when a short circuit occurs in the circuit. A long beep will be heard.
    • Reverse polarity protection: if the clamps (+/-) are accidentally connected in reverse, the charger will alert you with interrupted long beeps. Properly connecting the clamps will start the charging process.
