Dual-use cutting knife is designed for straight cuts and groove cutting. The flat side of the blade is used for polishing and shaping. The hot knife has five temperature settings and an integrated rheostat.
To avoid overheating the knife, hold the button pressed for about 15 seconds, then release. Continue this cycle for no more than 5 minutes. Then let the knife "rest" for about 2 minutes. If you use the knife for more than 5 minutes at a time, the knife may overheat.
