The SBS-CT-2000 is a precise coating thickness measuring device that meets the highest requirements. It can be used on surfaces made of ferromagnetic metals, such as automotive paint layers on a metal surface. This compact helper is indispensable in the metal and chemical industry as well as in the automotive industry.

The SBS-CT-2000 coating thickness gauge measures paint thickness very accurately. With a wide measurement range from 0 to 2000 μm, you get excellent measurement results not only for car paints. The device also has a large storage capacity - 2000 measured values. You can choose from two different measurement modes: the first mode measures values using a magnet, the second mode uses vortex current for checking other materials. The paint tester also has a practical V-shaped groove, which greatly facilitates the measurement of round bodies, such as axles, hinges, wings, and spoilers.

All measurement parameters are clearly displayed on the LCD screen with switchable background lighting, so you can always see them even in dark environments. When a measurement is performed, an audible signal is heard. The measuring device is easily operated using intuitive buttons. After finishing measurements, you can connect the device to a computer using the included mini USB cable to evaluate the data. Calibration is performed according to a detailed description in the instruction manual.

For the device to comfortably fit in hand, its casing is rubberized. The gauge withstands not only very high temperatures up to 50°C but also humidity from 20 to 90%. When the device is not in use or you have a meeting with a client, you can easily and safely store it in the provided transport case.
