Bessey shears for corners, right-handed, overall length 275 mm, blade length 43 mm, enhanced steel

Bessey D214 figurine shears are best suited for executing small, close radii near the edge of a sheet metal. Thanks to their filigree blade shapes, these shears can easily cut very narrow figures and curves. The handles are lacquered (series D214). The head of the shears is very thin.

Right-handed shears are adapted and designed in such a way that they cut right-hand radii well (i.e., a curve from left to right). It is often thought that right-handed shears are for right-handers and left-handed shears are for left-handers. But this is not the case. It is the opposite. If a right-hander cuts a radius with right-handed shears (see above, from left to right), the movement will be directed outward from the wrist. And with left-handed shears (the radius from right to left) - towards the inside of the wrist. This is significantly more ergonomic.
