Right-handed clamps are adjusted and designed in such a way that they cut right radii (i.e., from left to right) well. It is often thought that right-handed clamps are for right-handed users and left-handed for left-handers. But this is not the case. It's the opposite. If a right-hander cuts a radius with right-handed clamps (see above, from left to right), then the movement will be directed outward from the wrist.
