Right-handed clamps are designed and constructed in such a way that they cut right-hand radii well (i.e., bending from left to right). It is often thought that right-handed clamps are for right-handed users, and left-handed ones for left-handed users, but this is not the case. It is the opposite. If a right-handed person cuts a radius with right-handed clamps (see above, from left to right), then the movement will be directed outward from the wrist. With left-handed clamps (radius from right to left) - towards the inside of the wrist. This is significantly more ergonomic.
