    Sherman DIGIMIG 200 Pulse semi-automatic, 200A, 230V

What can Sherman Digimig 200 Pulse do?

Semiautomatic – this is the most popular welding process in production. The synergic semiautomatic Digimig 200 Pulse welds with all semiautomatic welding methods: MIG, Pulse MIG, Dual Pulse MIG, SPOT MIG, COPOT, and has a synergic mode.

Synergic - it is the professional experience installed into the memory of the semiautomatic. Using the synergic mode, the semiautomatic only needs to know the type of gas (CO2, MIX, Argon), wire diameter (0.8mm, 1.0mm…) and the type of metal being welded (Steel, Stainless steel, Aluminum, Powdered wire…), then the semiautomatic adjusts everything at the turn of a dial, just as professionals would do. It selects the wire feeding speed, welding current, voltage, and inductance. You will learn more about this below.

Don't want to use Synergic mode? Weld everything by adjusting manually, just like working with a classic semiautomatic.

The welding equipment has overheating protection. 60% duty cycle allows working at maximum current for 6 minutes, followed by a 4-minute break. In case of overheating, the semiautomatic will shut down itself. The welding inverter is made using IGBT transistor technology, which ensures high efficiency and compact size.

Upon shutdown, all settings are saved, moreover, up to 35 of your favorite settings can be saved for quick and convenient welding.

    Welding machine operation modes

    • MIG/MAG classic welding. Adjust the feeding speed, voltage, and inductance. It's a classic welding method with a semiautomatic.
    • MIG/MAG synergic. Don't know how to choose the right adjustments? Digimig 200 Pulse does it all for you.
    • MIG FLUX welding with reverse polarity using powdered wire.
    • MIG Brazing – it's brazing with a semiautomatic CuSi or CuAl wire. This welding mode can join incompatible alloys (Aluminum, Copper, Steel, Stainless steel, etc.).
    • MIG Pulse welding with pulsation. The current pulsates at set parameters, which reduces heat input and metal deformation. Relevant for sheet metal welding. This welding method is suitable for working in all positions.
    • MIG Dual Pulse (MIG Double pulse) – it's the most innovative double pulse technology. Working with Aluminum creates a cleaning effect. It also reduces the thermal deformation of the metal.
    • Spool-Gun torch with its own feeding mechanism designed for working with soft metals, such as Aluminum. Uses D100 diameter spools.
    • SPOT point welding. Consists of three settings: Gas delivery before welding, Current duration in seconds, and Gas blow after welding.
    • CPOT (Continuous SPOT) works like SPOT, the only difference being that it places spots at a set time interval while the torch button is pressed.
    • MMA mode for working with coated electrodes. This is the most popular welding method worldwide.
    • MMA Pulse welding with electrodes with pulse. Reduces cratering, facilitates vertical and overhead joint welding.
    • DC TIG LIFT welding with a tungsten electrode in an Argon environment.
    • DC TIG Lift Pulse TIG welding with pulse.

Special features of the semiautomatic welding machine

The semiautomatic torch is equipped with an adjustment knob. When welding in synergic mode, it adjusts the welding current; when working in non-synergic mode, it changes the wire feeding speed and voltage.

As mentioned earlier, this inverter welding machine is ideally suited for MIG aluminum welding due to Dual pulse technology. The package includes a special aluminum wire feeding "U" shaped wheel with two grooves 1.0mm and 1.2mm. It is designed to push aluminum wire as smoothly and without deformation as possible.
